Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) is continuing to build its Can-Am off-road dealer network in Ireland with the appointment of McGinty Tractors Ltd, a major dealership in Co. Donegal.
McGinty Tractors is a well-established business which carries Valtra, McHale and Kverneland among others, as major franchises.
The agreement with Can-Am allows it to retail the full utility line-up enabling it to provide its expanding customer base with an ATV or SSV, which are designed as workhorse rather than recreational vehicles.
Full utility range available
In addition, the new range aligns with McGinty Tractors desire to sell machinery and vehicles that complement, rather than compete, with each other and so increase the number of sales opportunities for the business.
For Can-Am off-road, the appointment of McGinty Tractors is a part of its plans to add experienced and well-known dealers to its network, so it can tap into the growing utility vehicle market both on a regional and national level.
All BRP’s vehicles are manufactured to a high standard, with well-proven Rotax engines used to provide the power.
BRP claims that its innovative designs improve the handling, comfort and ease of use when the machines are towing or hauling goods and equipment.
Rory McGinty, director Mcginty Tractors Ltd, said: “The addition of ATVs and SSVs is the next logical step for the business.
“We did our due diligence and we landed on Can-Am off-road because the line-up aligns perfectly with the other products we sell. In addition, we felt that the brand would benefit our business in many ways.”
He added that one of the benefits to McGinty tractors, is that the Can-Am off road line up will open doors to new customers and the opportunity to introduce them to other products we have in stock that might be relevant to their business.
McGinty tractors pursues quality
Another, and perhaps more important point, is that it enables the company to have access to a high quality product that will be able to meet the needs and requirements of the user.
For its part, BRP notes that the Irish utility market is growing and it is delighted to welcome aboard McGinty tractors, which has a broad and extensive experience in the farm machinery market of the north-west, along with the customer base that brings.
