Combine and forager prices: Results from unreserved FTMTA auction

A sizeable unreserved auction of tractors and farm machinery – organised by the Farm Tractor and Machinery Trade Association (FTMTA) – took place on Saturday, September 30, at Punchestown Event Centre near Naas, Co. Kildare.

Over 250 lots went under the hammer; everything was sold on the day. Some were bought by punters present in the event centre; others were bought by online or phone bidders.

Farmers, contractors and machinery enthusiasts flocked to the sale, in the hope of securing a bargain. According to Paul Cooke Auctions, over 500 people registered to bid; another 100 registered to bid online – as well as those on the phones.

AgriLand was present, to sample the atmosphere, capture these pictures and to jot down the key prices and specifications.
