10 projects aiming to promote the organic sector in Ireland are set to receive €3 million in funding between them.
The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine said that the funding will be allocated to these projects over the three years 2025, 2026 and 2027, with €1 million being made available each year.

Commenting on the research call, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine Martin Heydon said: "I want to thank all the applicants for the quality of the varied proposals that were received by my department. The projects selected will help to meet the objectives of our National Organic Strategy.
"I want to wish all applicants well with their projects, and I look forward to seeing them have a real impact on the continued growth of the organic sector in Ireland," he added.
