The Cork Summer Show, organised by Munster Agricultural Society, attracted thousands of people across the weekend. 

It was the 220th anniversary of the festival, which this year featured more than 200 events and attractions at the Cork Showgrounds in Curraheen.

It has been estimated that in the region of 40,000 people attended the show over the weekend to experience the diverse range of activities and exhibitions on display.

The community event saw competitions for horses, ponies, cattle, sheep, poultry, goats, pigs, dogs, horticulture, floral art, arts and crafts, baking, and more.
