Ifac marks 50th anniversary with plans to create 400 new jobs

Ifac, the accounting, tax, and business advisory firm, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year with expansion plans, including the creation of 400 new jobs over the next three years.

Founded in 1975, ifac, which began as a specialist advisor to Irish farmers, has expanded its services across farming, food, agri-business, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), tax, and audit.

With revenues expected to hit €50 million, ifac has become a top-10 accountancy and advisory firm.

The company currently has a nationwide network of over 30 offices with 580 people serving almost 30,000 clients.

This includes supporting 18,000 producers, 3,000 clients in the agri-food sector, and 7,000 SMEs with a range of professional services, including accounting, tax, audit, corporate finance, consultancy, corporate recovery, payroll, financial planning, company secretarial, and business valuations.

John Donoghue, ifac chief executive, said that to further support its growth, the company is planning to create 400 new jobs over the next three years and expand its services across the country.
