Kerry Dairy Ireland announces milk price for June

Kerry Dairy Ireland has announced the milk price it will pay to its suppliers for June, deciding to hold its price.

The Kerry Dairy Ireland price for June milk supplies is 50.03c/L, including VAT and quality and sustainability bonuses, at ordinary constituents.

This is the same price offered last month for milk supplies in May.

The processor said that, based on Kerry Dairy Ireland's average milk solids for June, the milk return inclusive of VAT and quality and sustainability bonuses is 53.59c/L.

The business said that global milk supply "remains robust with strong volumes out of Ireland and the United Kingdom".

"On the demand side, fats have remained firm, contributing to overall market stability," Kerry Dairy Ireland added.

Dairygold has also announced the price it will pay suppliers for the month of June.

Today (Thursday, July 17), the board of Dairygold confirmed that it has decided to maintain the June quoted price at 49c/L, based on standard constituents of 3.3% protein and 3.6% butterfat, inclusive of sustainability and quality payments and VAT.

The June price equates to an average June farm gate price of 54.2c/L, based on the average June 2025 milk solids, achieved by Dairygold milk suppliers.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Dairygold said: “Overall global dairy demand remains reasonably resilient, however gradually increasing global supply is beginning to put future returns under pressure”.

“In addition, buyers face continued uncertainty in relation to tariffs and geo-political risks, which is hampering their appetite to take long term positions.
