Kverneland Group Ireland has expanded its presence on the ground with the appointment of Ryall's Farm & Industrial Equipment in east Co. Cork.
Ryall's Farm Machinery, which is situated at Watergrasshill, will now offer the full range of Kverneland equipment, including arable, grass, and cropcare machinery, alongside Siloking feeding equipment and McConnel trimmers and toppers.
Ryall's Farm & Industrial Equipment began as a family-run business, established in 1981 by Robert and Sylvia Ryall, Robert himself coming from a family which was already well-known in farming circles.
Having served his apprenticeship at Atkins, which was then a David Brown agency, he worked for a while on commercial vehicles, eventually going out on his own repairing tractors and farm machinery, both at the family farm and from a van.
In 1984, the company relocated to its current premises, initially operating out of a 2,500ft² workshop, but since then the company has expanded significantly and today the modern premises cover over 18,000ft².
Now managed by Trevor and Jennifer Ryall, with founder Robert still involved behind the scenes, Ryall's Farm Machinery is said to take pride in supporting its customers, an attribute which the Kverneland group feels matches its own ethos.
Trevor Ryall, son of Robert, believes that the appointment marks an important step for the company as Kverneland will strengthen and expand its machinery offering in the area.
The new franchise will, he says, allow Ryall's to provide high-performance and reliable products to its established customer base, reinforcing the company's commitment to delivering the best in agricultural machinery and support and he looks forward to working with Kverneland in 2025 and beyond.
Ryall's will provide comprehensive sales, service, and parts support for Kverneland equipment, to help ensure that the right machine is purchased and properly maintained throughout its working life.
