Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Scheme (TAMS 3) payments worth over €2.2 million have been issued the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) this week.
Latest scheme payment data published by the DAFM today (Friday, October 25), show that the total amount issued under TAMS 3 now stands at €21.954 million.
A total of 18,368 approvals have been issued under TAMS 3 to date. Latest data also show that 56,676 approvals have been issued under TAMS 2, with €64,750 paid out this week.
The DAFM paid out a total of over €207 million in outstanding scheme payments this week, including €196 million under the 2024 Eco Scheme.
2024 Basic Income Support for Sustainability (BISS) and Complimentary Redistributive Income Support for Sustainability (CRISS) payments worth €7.3 million have been paid out to farmers this week.
To date, 112,097 farmers have received their BISS and CRISS payments, totalling €517.78 million. Advance payments under both schemes started issuing last week.
The DAFM also paid out a total of €855,039 outstanding under the 2024 Areas of Natural Constraint (ANC) and Areas of Specific Constraint (ASC) schemes this week.
The issuing of payments outstanding under the 2023 Organic Farming Scheme (OFS) continued this week, with a total of €4,431 issued. To date, 3,922 farmers have now received a total of €48.2 million.
No payments have been issued this week under the National Dairy Beef Welfare Scheme 2023, the Sheep Improvement Scheme (SIS) 2023, or the Straw Incorporation Measure (SIM) 2023.
