EU quotas are being abolished and new dairy markets are opening up in China and India. The global dairy landscape is changing and in a few years for some it will be unrecognisable. At Alltech’s Global 500, taking place in Dublin this October, dairy farmers and producers who want to prepare and profit from these changes can preview this future marketplace and the new strategies required to succeed. According to the organisers, more than two million cattle will be represented by the leading global farmers who have already registered for this year’s Global 500 event, held outside of the US for the first time.Speakers, including representatives from Rabobank and European dairy farmers will provide a roadmap for where they think the dairy industry will be in five to 10 years.
