Teagasc has unveiled the programme of its 2024 Science Week, packed with engaging, hands-on events that spark curiosity, inspire learning, and bring the latest scientific advancements to life.

Running from Monday, November 11-16 and led by Science Communication and Engagement Officer, Eimear Ferguson, this year’s programme promises a range of experiences for all ages across Ireland.

From immersive farm tours to interactive workshops, there’s something for everyone - whether you're fascinated by plant health, intrigued by microbes, or eager to explore the science behind your favourite foods and farming practices, Teagasc said.

Teagasc research centres around Ireland will open their doors to students from primary and secondary level to highlight the work that takes place in agriculture and food research.
