Agriland Media Group is delighted to announce its sponsorship of committee jackets this year for University College Dublin's (UCD) Agricultural Science Society (AgSoc).

The AgSoc committee is made up of 28 members, including the auditor, secretary, an international representative, year and sport representatives, along with members of the tea shop committee.

The jackets will be worn by committee members for some key events approaching this year to raise money for two chosen charities: 'Make the Moove' and 'The Dillon Quirke Foundation'.

Owner and managing director of Agriland Media Group, Cormac Farrelly said: "Agriland is delighted to be involved in this sponsorship with UCD AgSoc as they continue to raise money for two important charities and promote the agriculture sector among young people."

UCD AgSoc runs charity events right through the college year with about 800 members raising as much money as possible, through activities such as the annual 'milk race'; boxing matches; and a welly walk from UCD agricultural buildings to Ryans on Camden Street.

The society will also begin selling tickets for a large end of year raffle this Monday, April 21 with prizes to be won at the end of the college year.

Make the Moove is a nationwide programme providing guidance and support for those in need, with a mission to help farmers take care of their wellbeing. It is a farmer driven, farmer led program promoting positive mental health among farmers.
