The trade mission led by the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Martin Heydon, is not only an opportunity to showcase premium Irish products but also deepen relationships with key trading partners in the region.

Japan is now the third largest destination for Irish agri-food exports outside of Europe.

 In 2024, €162 million of Irish food and drink was exported to Japan.
